Chapter 14: Setting Up The Android SDK

Having worked through the process of installing and using the iOS SDK in Chapters 12 and 13, when you follow through the steps in this chapter, you're going to be very pleased with how the Android SDK compares in terms of ease of use and speed of development. Of course there are pros and cons to everything and some aspects of the Android SDK are a little fiddlier than IOS (such as installing on 64-bit PCs), but this is only to be expected. On the whole, though, the entire installation and development process is much quicker and easier on Android than for iOS.
